Cleaning and Care Instructions
Profiles, fittings and glass panes must only be cleaned with mild household cleaners (no microfibre cloths). Detergents, abrasive cleaners, alcohol or cellulose thinners are not suited for this purpose.
The mechanical parts of the shower cubicle also need care to maintain their trouble-free function for many years. To this end, an annual inspection of metal fittings is recommended. Regular cleaning and maintenance are decisive factors in maximising their lifespan. The older the deposits on material surfaces, the more difficult they can be removed.
- Clean and dry the surfaces directly after having a shower.
- Use soft, non-abrasive cloths.
- Important: Highly effective, coarse microfibre can damage the surface.
- Non-abrasive, non-film forming standard household detergents or glass cleaners must be used.
- Please always read the instructions for use of the respective detergents.
Maintenance Instructions
The shower must be inspected and maintained regularly to guarantee their safe use, proper functioning and fitness for purpose. As glass poses a significant risk, these maintenance works must be performed by a professional.
Maintenance works include the following:
- Inspecting the fixings to the building structure and the fittings
- Inspecting the general functionality and operability. Readjust or exchange if necessary.
- Inspecting all dimensions and insert depths
- Damaged glass elements, e.g. edge damage, must be replaced immediately as they are causing an increased risk of breakage.
- Direct contact between glass and other hard materials, e.g. metal, must be avoided.
- Check all sealing strips for damage or signs of wear. They must be replaced if necessary.
